the boys are back in action... (almost)

rugby is almost here. the super 14 teams have started with their preseason matches. The big day is less than 3 weeks away - Feb 15 to be exact. still waiting for the tv schedule from the australia network.

last friday night, the crusaders got off to a good start by canning the canes 55-33 in motueka, at the top of south island. here are a few photos from the match:

so it is sunday morning in singapore. whilst there is no rugby action on the telly, there will be live coverage on the men's final of the aussie open this afternoon, which i am planning to watch. the french unseeded player, jo-wilfried tsonga vs. novak djokovic. who could have thought it? they beat nadal and federer, respectively, in the semi. i hope it will be an interesting match.
